Very responsive to emails.
Why stay at a hotel? Comparable price for a great quiet location close to Blue Ridge Parkway, Cone Manor, Price Lake, Blowing Rock, Boone. Listened to birds rather than traffic! Cozy king bed. Tasteful decor. Spacious bathroom with jetted tub. Great view from private deck. Nice extras. Mini fridge had separate freezer for my ice cream. Electric fireplace to enjoy while sitting on couch to watch a DVD. Hardwood floors with bedside rugs. I'm ready to return for more peace and quiet!

The only contact I had with one of your team members was when I called after I had made our reservations and then discovered that only dogs less than twenty pounds were allowed. I then called your number and explained to a very nice young man that we had to cancel because our dog weighed sixty pounds. But he talked to his manager who graciously made an allowance for our dog and said come on ahead. We were grateful. Our dog is the best dog in the world and I assured the young man of that.
We stayed at the lodge and there was no guest service team in evidence on the property any of the five days of our stay. We saw no maintenance people either. We wondered what to do with the trash that was accumulating in our room, and took some of it down to the large trash can in the communal kitchen downstairs. Then we saw the real estate broker on the property and he directed us to the dumpster, which was discretely placed in an out of the way place. The dumpster was actually full to the brim on the day we discovered it, but was emptied by the trash pick up the next day.

Absolutely excellent communication via email before arrival. We never spoke to a human pertaining to any aspect of our reservations, arrival, stay, or departure. I must admit it felt strange however, it worked perfectly without even one issue. Therefore, I have nothing negative to say. It is apparent someone has worked very hard to ensure every detail is covered. I am usually that person so I thank you for your diligence and attention to detail.
I have two negative comments. 1) The air conditioner in our room was horrible. It is so loud you can't sleep. It is nearly impossible to regulate the temperature. Therefore you are either sweating or freezing. 2) Every property should have a surveillance camera in the parking areas. Someone in our groups car was hit while we were out for the day.

Called for assistance in finding the inn. Was a bit confusing but the guy on the phone was very helpful. (It is important to use your GPS to get to Blowing Rock, then refer to directions provided in the emailed directions. . . the GPS data are not very accurate still up here in the mountains. - Mgt.)
Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Enjoyed the photographs from the camp there years ago
