Seaforth is an elegant 5 bedroom mountain cabin with fine furnishings and a Scottish Highland theme. This cabin is set in one of the most idyllic settings in the High Country. Enjoy privacy and views with this special cabin at the top of the mountain overlooking the Watauga River Valley. There is frequent live music and a fun array of mountain merchandise and lore (www.mastgeneralstore.com). And for a fun lunch or dinner out, walk across the street to the 1861 Farmhouse Restaurant and Winery where there are wine tastings daily and brunch on Sunday. This cabin is also located centrally in the High Country within easy driving distance of Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain and Grandfather Mountain. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Beautiful house and views. We loved the fireplace and jacuzzi as well. We had a wonderful time and Carolina Cabin Rentals were great and very responsive when I called about the exercise bike not working. They sent a maintenance man out that same day to fix it! Thanks!!!

very good....no problems at all
My wife commented about the lack of some kitchen (paring?) knives/utensils. But she also said we probably did an abnormal amount of cooking. Otherwise all was great.

Seaforth is a very beautiful house with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay very much. The master bedroom was very chilly while the bedrooms downstairs was hot if we turned the thermostat up to heat our suite.

Wonderful team, very helpful and informative on activities in the surrounding area to do with small children as well as adults!
This house is one of the best we have stayed in our 10 plus years of going to the mountains of North Carolina in the summer for our family vacation. It had all we needed for different ages to enjoy. The hot tub was set in an awesome view of the mountains and was enjoyed by all . The kitchen provided so much space for our family of chefs to make their specialities on their "cooking day". We loved the picnic tables on the deck for breakfast, lunch and dinners- a wonderful gathering place for all to enjoy nature, watch the sun go down and the watch the stars and moon at night. The three levels and multiple bedrooms provided ample for adults and children to have their own space as well as play games in the evenings or watch the big screen TV during the Olympics! Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with others! We will return soon with the entire gang next time!!

Great experience, no complaints at all.
Awesome cabin, very well maintained and nicely decorated, the sound system was great. We enjoyed the terrace very much. Overall we set our bar for choosing a cabin very high when we rented Seaforth.

The staff was very friendly and concerned about the driveway condition although nothing was done to remedy the situation.
(We received 15 inches of rain in the 11 days prior to this stay. Heavy rain on a gravel driveway caused some rutting on the edge. We did investigate and determined the driveway to be stable and in expected condition for a gravel driveway in the mountains. Normal conditions for us mountain folk. Please note that the property description says the following: "1 mile driveway is a gravel mountain road with a steep curve. 4 wheel drive is necessary during winter weather, and may be helpful at other times of the year" - Mgt.)
We would not book this property again.

Our only complaint was not enough towels. Had a group of 8 that went skiing every day and would have been nice to have a few extra. (Reservations are provided with a single towel per guest. If additional are needed, we recommend bringing more from home. - Mgt)
The cabin was beautiful and very spacious. We went with a group of friends and never felt crammed. The cabin was well decorated with all the amenities we needed. The weather did not cooperate with us until the day we left but that last day enjoyed the views through the giant windows.
