Welcome to Bluebeary Bungalow!
Nestled in the heart of Beech Mountain, Bluebeary Bungalow is the perfect destination for a mountain getaway. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is just one mile away, and offers year-round attractions. The winter months feature skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating. Looking for warm weather activities? Beech Mountain transforms into trails for mountain biking, hiking, and disc golf. Within a few miles from the home there are attractions including local dining, shopping, and hiking trails. Emerald Outback Trail Park, with trails for mountain bikers, hikers, and trail runners is less than three miles away. Buckeye Lake Recreation Area is five miles away, with fishing, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and a hiking trail to a beautiful waterfall. Twenty minutes down the mountain, the quaint town of Banner Elk gives guests access to local shopping and dining, Banner Elk Winery and Vineyard, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
