Grandfather Sights Description
Welcome to Grandfather Sights!
Grandfather Sights is a great vacation cabin with 3 levels of comfortable living space, an open floor plan, and a central location close to the major High Country attractions. Located just off Hwy 105 between Boone and Banner Elk, this home is close to hiking, zip-lining, fishing, rafting, snow tubing, skiing, and more. The home features delightful long-range views including straight-on views of the famous Grandfather Mountain.
The main living area has a stone fireplace with gas logs and a flat-screen TV and is open to the kitchen and dining areas. The home has wraparound decks, partly covered on the view side of the home, complete with rocking chairs and a propane grill. Upstairs, there is a spacious loft with comfortable seating. The lower level of the home has a game area with an air hockey table, a foosball table, and a flat-screen TV. This home has plenty of room for your group to enjoy being together in the mountains. Each bedroom, except for the bunk bedroom, now has a TV installed, a total of 5 in the home.
Please be advised that the property listed for rental is located within the Hemlock Village Property Owners Association (POA).
As part of the regulations set forth by the POA, the following guidelines apply:
- Two-Car Maximum: The Hemlock Village POA enforces a two-car maximum policy for the entire area. This means that each property within the village, including the rental property, is permitted to have a maximum of two cars parked on the premises at any given time.
- Quiet Hours: The POA observes quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During these hours, guests are kindly requested to keep noise levels to a minimum to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of the community for all residents and visitors.
By proceeding with the rental reservation, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the regulations outlined by the Hemlock Village POA, including the two-car maximum policy and quiet hours. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in penalties or eviction from the property.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. But you may recover the entire amount if travel insurance was purchased and the reason for the cancellation was covered.
