Welcome to Grandfather Vista!
This delightful cabin is centrally located and close to many of the most visited attractions here in the High Country. Enjoy the cozy comfort of this true log cabin with wonderful views of Grandfather Mountain.Please be advised that the property listed for rental is located within the Hemlock Village Property Owners Association (POA).
As part of the regulations set forth by the POA, the following guidelines apply:
- Two-Car Maximum: The Hemlock Village POA enforces a two-car maximum policy for the entire area. This means that each property within the village, including the rental property, is permitted to have a maximum of two cars parked on the premises at any given time.
- Quiet Hours: The POA observes quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During these hours, guests are kindly requested to keep noise levels to a minimum to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of the community for all residents and visitors.
If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding these regulations, please feel free to contact us. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a harmonious environment within Hemlock Village.
Important Information
- This home is a true 2 bedroom, but there are 4 separate sleeping areas. Please take a careful look at the sleeping arrangements and see if they will work well for your group. The upstairs loft, as well as the downstairs sleeping area, are both often used by our guests as additional bedrooms, and the futon in the game room can also accommodate a guest.
- Per POA restrictions a maximum of 2 cars are permitted at the property. Violators will be towed, so please plan accordingly. There is additional parking at our office in Boone (about 20 minutes away).
There is a strict 11 pm noise ordinance. No parties are allowed. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in expedited eviction.
The paved driveway is short but steep. Please be prepared with 4WD and tire chains in winter to ensure safe access.
The arcade game has been replaced with a stand-up style arcade game with 50 games on it.
MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YRS OF AGE TO BOOK
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. But you may recover the entire amount if travel insurance was purchased and the reason for the cancellation was covered.
