Happy Place, on Beech Mountain, is located just 3.2 miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort host to outdoor activities for the whole family. In the winter you will find your favorite activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In the summer months, guests can experience award-winning mountain bike trails, hiking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides. Buckeye Lake Recreation Area is 1 miles away, with fishing, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and a hiking trail to a beautiful waterfall. The Village of Beech Mountain is about three miles away, and offers local dining and shopping options. The town of Banner Elk is a 20-minute drive and gives guests access to attractions like Banner Elk Winery and Vineyard, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
Happy Place is an elegant mountain cabin with exposed beams and tongue and groove walls and ceilings throughout.
