The Fox Den Description
Welcome to The Fox Den!
The Fox Den is a 3BR/3BA log cabin on Beech Mountain. There are many High Country favorites to explore with ease from this cabin! Located less than 3 minutes away from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, there is easy access to various winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and tubing. Beech Mountain also offers mountain biking, hiking, chair lift rides, and more in the summer months. Buckeye Recreation Center is ten (10) minutes away, with tennis and basketball courts, a playground, a lake for fishing, and paddle boating. The town of Banner Elk is less than fifteen (15) minutes away, Banner Elk Winery is a quick fifteen (15) minute drive, Sugar Mountain is twenty (20) minutes away, and Grandfather Mountain is a thirty-five (35) minute drive away.
Quaint, rustic decor, and warm wood detailing creates a cozy cabin experience at The Fox Den. The living room centers around a stone fireplace with gas logs and a large HDTV. Off the living room, a covered porch with Adirondack seating looks out to the wooded mountain landscape. The updated kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and the dining table can accommodate six (6). There is a hot tub for guests to enjoy and a shuffleboard table added in late 2021. The home is equipped with mini-splits for your comfort.
The master bedroom on the main level has a queen bed, an HDTV, and an attached full bathroom with a combo tub and shower. The second bedroom has a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and next door is a full bathroom with a combo tub and shower. The sofa pulls out for the final queen sleeping space in the living room.
This home is not pet-friendly. There is parking for three (3) vehicles. Access to the entrance is up three (3) stairs.

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
