Welcome to A Place Apart!
Conveniently located on Appalachian Ski Mountain, A Place Apart is a short 5 minutes drive to the slopes. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parking, 1.3 miles away, to take advantage of hiking trails for all skill levels, overlooks, Price Park, and Moses Cone Manor. Downtown Blowing Rock is about seven minutes away and boasts local dining and shops, as well as a public park with tennis and basketball courts. Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, and Boone Golf Course are all within a fifteen minute drive. The town of Boone, twenty minutes down the road, is home to local shops and restaurants and Appalachian State University.
