Birch and Squirrel Lodge Description
Welcome to Birch and Squirrel Lodge!
Birch and Squirrel Lodge is a beautiful new home in the Village of Eagles Nest, only a seven (7) minute drive to downtown Banner Elk, restaurants, and shopping. It offers a quiet, peaceful setting close to the exclusive community conveniences. Eagles Nest is a luxury gated community with guest access to many family-friendly amenities! Just outside Banner Elk and beside Beech Mountain, this house is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Valle Crucis, and Watauga Lake. Elk River and the Watauga River are nearby for fishing and river activities.
With a natural stone fireplace, high vaulted ceilings, and refined interior finishes, Birch and Squirrel Lodge is an unforgettable destination for any occasion. Elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy the large Great Room with the gas log fireplace, open kitchen with granite countertops, and two basin sinks. Dine with your family and friends at the table with seating for all eight guests. The covered deck offers outdoor seating and a gas grill overlooking the mountains. This home has a main-floor king suite with an ensuite bathroom and a custom-made stone shower. There are two queen bedrooms upstairs. The main floor living room sofa also converts to a bed for extra sleeping options.
The Lodges at Eagles Nest offer premier community amenities and nature-based activities appealing to all ages and interests. Amenities and guest availability are subject to change. Please visit the Eagles Nest website and contact The Lodges at Eagles Nest for up-to-date information. The rental rate includes an amenity fee granting access to all guest amenities.

HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p
Please note all visitors on the premises at the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
Important Notes:
- Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
- This property is pet friendly for a max of 2 dogs; additional pet fees apply.
- Check-in is at 4 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals, please visit the Off-Road Adventures website.
- Guest accepts responsibility for caring for outdoor furniture during reservation. Furniture must be covered when not in use.
- Guests can add firewood for Additional Fees on the website or by calling our office.
- Please note that The Rock has wireless internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- AWD/4WD vehicles are required for our mountain homes during winter and inclement weather. In heavy snow, chains may also be necessary to access the property.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests. However, there is an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
