Welcome to Golden Ridge Getaway!
Situated on Appalachian Ski Mountain, Golden Ridge Getaway is centrally located to year-round attractions in the High Country. Appalachian Ski Mountain is a six minute drive to the family-friendly ski lodge, ski slopes, and ice skating rink. Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, and High Gravity Adventures are within five miles of the home. Downtown Blowing Rock is less than ten minutes away and offers local shopping and dining, as well as a beautiful park with public tennis and basketball courts. Hop on The Blue Ridge Parkway, two miles away, and take in the long-range mountain views at one of the overlooks, or take a hike on one of the hiking trails. Boone is located about twenty minutes away, and is home to restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities including parks, and the Boone Golf Course.

The comfortable leather furniture is situated around the fireplace and HDTV. After a day on the slopes, build a fire in the fireplace to warm up by with a mug of hot chocolate. The expansive back deck, located off the living room, offers outdoor dining, a gas grill, and breathtaking mountain views. Back inside, the dining area offers seating for six guests, and is open to the fully stocked kitchen. There are several games provided at the house for guests of all ages to enjoy at the game table. The lower deck is covered and houses a hot tub where guests can unwind after a day of hiking or shopping. The swing is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
