We know how hard it can be to find a vacation rental.  At Carolina Cabin Rentals, we want to make your search as simple and efficient as possible.  On our website you can:
  • Count on our calendars to be up to date, up to the minute.
  • Search by date, location, amenities or nearness to attractions.
  • View detailed, instant quotes and make your reservation online.
  • Learn about area attractions and start planning your stay.

Search By Date.  Our calendars are up to date, up to the minute.  If you know your dates, you can search by date with options to specify location or type of home and number of bedrooms or occupants. 

Specify Amenities.  After you search by date, you can filter the results to include only homes with the amenities you desire such as mountain views, hot tubs, pool tables, king beds, pet friendly, near the ski slopes or handicap accessibility.

Instant Quotes and Book Online.  At the top of each home's page is a yellow button that says either "Book It Now" (if you have already entered your dates) or "Instant Quote" (which will then ask you for your dates).  In this way you can view a full, detailed estimate for your stay and book your reservation online.  After you make your reservation, you will receive a detailed confirmation.  

Find a Specific Property.  If you know the name of the home you are interested in, you can go directly to it using the "Select Unit - View Rental" drop down menu which is right under the date search tool.

Browse Rental Categories. You can also simply browse our selection of homes under "Vacation Rentals".  Here we group homes by location, nearness to attractions, type of home or certain amenities.  We have cabins near Grandfather Mountain, Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline, Tweetsie Railroad, the Blue Ridge Parkway and other area attractions.  You can also browse cabins with views, hot tubs or pet-friendly rentals.

Attractions in the Boone Area.  There are too many to name them all, but if you are not familiar with this part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you will be pleased to find that there is an abundance of attractions and activities year round.  In the summer hiking, whitewater rafting, zip lining, mountain biking,

trout fishing, wildlife viewing are just the beginning.  In winter, the area boasts three ski resorts, two ice skating rinks, snow tubing and more.  Please see our Local Area Guide for more details.

Geography of the Area.  The two main arteries into the area are Highway 421 (which comes from Raleigh and Winston Salem, under the Blue Ridge Parkway and directly into Boone) and Highway 321 which comes from Charlotte, but is also the most common route from South Carolina, Florida and even Georgia.  Highway 321 comes directly up into Blowing Rock before you get to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Boone is just a short 5-10 minute drive further on 321 after Blowing Rock.

From Boone, the main artery further into the area is Highway 105 which runs toward the areas of Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain.  Banner Elk is about 20 minutes from Boone and the other locales are within 10 minutes of Banner Elk.  If you are coming across the Blue Ridge from Tennessee, many find that the route thru Banner Elk is most convenient into the Boone area.
