Each summer, Price Lake Boat Rentals hosts Full Moon Paddle events on select evenings. Guests can reserve a canoe, single kayak, or tandem kayak and explore the lake while the moon rises over the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.

The event is a convenient evening activity for visitors staying in Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, and nearby areas of North Carolina’s High Country.

What Is the Price Lake Full Moon Paddle?

During select evenings from late spring through early fall, Price Lake Boat Rentals remains open after regular hours for recreational paddling beneath the moonlight. The experience is self-guided, allowing guests to explore the calm lake at their own pace during the scheduled event window.

Available boat rentals include:

  • Tandem kayaks
  • Canoes
