Escape to On The River Bank, a peaceful mountain retreat where the sounds of the Yadkin River set the pace for your stay. Located on the outskirts of Blowing Rock, this inviting getaway offers private river access, a spacious two-tier deck overlooking the water, and plenty of room to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors. Spend your days exploring the shops, restaurants, and attractions of downtown Blowing Rock, about 20 minutes away, or venture to Appalachian Ski Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tweetsie Railroad. Boone is approximately 30 minutes away, with even more opportunities for shopping, dining, scenic drives, hiking, and seasonal mountain adventures.
Back at the house, settle into the comfortable main-level living room, where a wood-burning stove, plush couch, and reclining chairs create a welcoming spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Head outside to soak in the hot tub, gather around the outdoor firepit, or simply enjoy the river views from the expansive deck. Inside, the spacious loft offers a foosball table, a dedicated workspace, and a cozy twin-over-twin bunk nook, giving everyone a little room to spread out.
A separate guest house adds even more flexibility, with its own full living room, kitchen, and private loft sleeping area featuring a queen bed and two twin beds. Whether you're planning a family getaway, traveling with friends, or bringing along your four-legged companions, On The River Bank offers a comfortable home base with a special connection to the outdoors.
Up to two dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee.
Come for the mountain adventures, stay for the river, and let the peaceful rhythm of the Yadkin make your getaway one to remember.
