Overview

WELCOME TO SUGAR CHALET

Blending natural charm with modern mid-century style, Sugar Chalet offers a unique getaway on Sugar Mountain. Warm wood finishes, contemporary touches, and a wooded setting create a welcoming retreat minutes from the slopes and a variety of year-round activities.

The main living area features vaulted wood ceilings, a stunning stacked-stone, wood-burning fireplace, and a big-screen TV. A bay window brightens the dining area, while the spacious kitchen features stainless steel appliances and an attractive tile backsplash. Step out onto the deck to enjoy the hot tub or fire up the gas grill, then gather around the outdoor fire pit for a relaxing evening.

Sugar Chalet accommodates families and small groups with a main-level queen bedroom with direct access to the common bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find another queen bedroom and a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks, both with access to the upper-level bathroom. For year-round comfort, the main level has central heating and air conditioning, while both upper bedrooms have individual mini-split systems with remote controls.

TVs are set up for streaming, allowing guests to log in to their favorite services for a cozy movie night. Two dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. In winter conditions, all-wheel drive (AWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) is highly recommended for navigating the mountain roads.

From winter days on the slopes to summer adventures around Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Chalet serves as a comfortable home base year-round. Take a thrilling ride at Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, explore the area's hiking trails, or unwind back at the chalet.

With Sugar Mountain Resort just minutes away, you can hit the slopes in no time and then return to the chalet to warm up by the fire.
